Gemma, our Director of Finance and Corporate Services, is a Chartered Global Management Accountant with a passion for positive impact. Gemma’s role oversees the organisation’s financial and corporate affairs, ensuring its financial viability and proper fiscal management.
Gemma started her finance career in the Telecommunications industry, where she gained a range of valuable commercial experience. During this time she enjoyed volunteering, and seeing the real difference that organisations in the charitable and third sector make to peoples’ lives. Following this experience, she decided to pursue a career in the charity and third sector, where she gained a breadth of knowledge and experience across various areas including social enterprises, ethical business finance, employability and community strengthening. Gemma joined us in January 2021 and is driven by the incredible outputs and impacts we have, and the difference we can make to people whose lives are affected by cancer.
