Elizabeth Kennedy

Elizabeth spent over 30 years in corporate finance, working since 1996 with Brewin Dolphin, providing board level strategic, project management and regulatory advice principally to quoted companies.

She now acts as a non-executive director of a number of companies including BMO Private Equity Trust plc and Octopus Second AIM VCT plc and is a consultant with Kergan Stewart LLP, solicitors. She is a member, and past chairman, of the London Stock Exchange's AIM Advisory Group.

Elizabeth's father died of cancer and her mother's life was very badly affected by the cancer she first had at the age of 19. This encouraged Elizabeth to join the Friends of the Beatson board in 2000. One of her milestones was to walk to Everest Base camp in aid of the charity.
